Northern Maintenance Services

War Lake Cree Nation & Tataskweyak Cree Nation

Cree Nation Partners (CNP) and Servco Construction (Formerly NME Construction Services) formed a joint venture from May 2012 through December 2022 to pursue several directly negotiated initiatives available through Manitoba Hydro and the Keeyask Infrastructure Project. The Keeyask project has since been successfully completed, and Servco Construction  is exceptionally proud of the work NMS has performed. Servco Construction is committed to enhancing northern communities and looks forward to the possibility of creating similar joint ventures to tackle future endeavors.

Fox Lake Cree Nation

The Fox Lake Cree Nation has approximately 1100 band members including around 500 registered residents on the Reserve. The Members spread out as far as Thompson, Churchill, and Winnipeg. Fox Lake Cree Nation or (FLCN) is an independent band formed in 1949, it was originally named the “Gillam Band”. Ancestors of this band have been around since the last ice age and still practice traditional hunting practices. This band is fully aware of Hydro development as they have been exposed to it for over half a century.
